Weeping Japanese Cherry
When Metro Health Hospital moved to its new Wyoming location, many trees, shrubs and perennials were left at the old site in need of a new home. The Giving Gardens, a non-profit organization in East Grand Rapids, works to transfer plants and trees from areas of abundance to areas in need.
Half-way up my road is a beautiful Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis' and savouring it is a moment I look forward to when I go to see friends at the top of the road.
